Wireless Product Repair & Replacement Plan

Our Customer Commitment
At GTA, we work with high-quality manufacturers who stand behind their products and services, as we stand behind ours. In order to get the best use from your new phone, please read carefully and follow the recommendations in your product users’ manual. However, to provide you with the best service we can deliver, we have the following instructions for handset replacement and repair.

Handset Out-of-Box Failure
An out-of-box failure (OBF) is defined as a new phone purchased from GTA that was found to be defective within supplier-defined dates and cumulative minutes of use. The defect cannot be the result of misuse or abuse (i.e. water damage). OBF product processing will differ based on documented proof of purchase.

To qualify as an OBF with proof of purchase, the handset must meet the following criteria:
  1. Handset must be returned by the consumer within 30 calendar days of the original date of purchase.
  2. Handset must have less than 90 minutes on the non-resettable call timer.
  3. The handset must be in new condition with no signs of physical abuse (i.e. scratches, dings, broken lens, etc.) and must be returned complete with accessories, packaging material and in the original manufacturer’s box. There must be no marring or writing on the manufacturer’s box.
To qualify as an OBF, without proof of purchase, the handset must meet the following criteria:
  1. The handset must have been purchased from GTA within 60 days.
  2. The handset must have less than 30 minutes on the non-resettable call timer.
  3. The handset must be in new condition with no signs of physical abuse (i.e. scratches, dings, broken lens, etc.) and must be returned complete with accessories, packaging material and in the original manufacturer’s box. There must be no marring or writing on the manufacturer’s box.
Handset Warranty Repair
GTA will facilitate the repair of defective product with its provider that is outside of the OBF criteria but still under the manufacturer’s warranty. For new product, the warranty period is one year from manufacture date or consumer purchase. Warranty repair will apply to product that becomes defective 30 days after consumer purchase and/or after 90 minutes of use.

Accessory Replacement or Credit
At our discretion, we will facilitate credit or replacement of defective accessories in accordance to the manufacturer’s warranty. All of our suppliers provide an one-year warranty against defects on accessories. This warranty does not cover misuse, mishandling or any tampering with the product.
