Wireless Voice Mail Setup User Guide | Show/Hide all sections
 Introduction
The first time you use your GTA Voice Mail, a tutorial will help you record your name and personal greeting, and set your password. You must complete the tutorial before you can use your voice mailbox.
Password Setup
- Dial your Voice Mailbox Number to enter the voice mail system. Your Voice Mailbox Number is provided in the enclosed Welcome Letter.
- When you hear the greeting, enter your password. Your temporary password is 9999.
- Press the 4 key to enter the personal options menu.
- Press the 4 key to modify your personal preferences.
- Press the 1 key to modify your password.
- Enter your new password followed by the # key.
Recording Your Mailbox Name
You can record your name to identify your mailbox during various operations, such as sending and receiving forwarded messages.
- Press the 3 key to access your recorded name.
- Press the 2 key to record your name. You will be prompted to speak your name.
- Speak your name and press the # key when finished.
Recording Your Greetings
You can record a greeting to inform callers that they reached your mailbox. You can change the greeting at any time to give callers updated information, such as your schedule for the day.
- Press the 3 key to enter/create a greeting.
- Press the 2 key to record your greeting. You are prompted to record your greeting.
- Record your greeting.
- Press # key when finished.
Access your voicemail from another phone
You do not need to use your cell phone to access your voice mail.
- By dialing your Voice Mailbox number, you will be routed directly to your mailbox from any phone you call from. When you hear your greeting, press * and enter your password when prompted.
- If you don't have a Direct Inward Dial (DID) number, simply dial *96, press #, enter your 10-digit GTA Cellular phone number ex. 671-482-XXXX, press * and enter your password.
