I should finally add that colleges generally want to see 4 history credits in HS so you should aim for 4. With english I can get by but I just don't like it. You don't want those nightly readings to turn into 30 pages you need to catch up on in a time frame of two days. You should consult your parents, teachers and guidance counselor to decide when is the best time for you to take the AP Human Geography exam. I'd recommend it. If you do take it, I URGE you to do the textbook reading when assigned or try to do a lot of it, it isn't necessary to follow the readings religiously but they are usually what the class discussions are on.

My teacher on his tests would make the tests 80% on the classroom discussions and 20% on the readings (meaning if you took great notes in class and paid attention, you could get around a B, but he would ask a few questions that you would only know if you did the reading as well to make sure you were doing the reading).
